This has been one of those hectic weeks, and I am happy they all worked out without much incident that would affect how I would look at it. However, I am always relaxed during exam preparation weeks. I like to feel that the pressure is off me and on the students since it is their time to be stressed about the exam and for me to tell them I told you so when they struggle. It is the time when the learners best behave or, should I say, are occupied with something more than causing me misery. On Monday, it was tranquil, and I realized the learners had just looked at the timetable and discovered the exams were around the corner. The corridors were empty. However, I still had them to help them prepare. The classes were quiet, and the more diligent ones were asking questions while the others realized how much they had to keep up. I was gracious enough to help with the various problems helping them find their feet.
On Tuesday, I decided to deal with an inequality issue that proved to be a problem for most learners. Most of the learners were having a problem with logarithms and linear graphing equations. I was bothered a bit since I had some long sessions with them working out the way of linear graphing equations. There is often a problem with logarithms since learners do not know how to apply different approaches and mix them up (Vural, 2021). I took much more time and exercise practice to get through with the basics to ensure they were ready for the same.
