People First Language (PFL)
PFL is a communication channel that reflects respect and understanding to disabled people. It is wrong to recognize the disabled according to their disability. People's First Language should always recognize individuals before mentioning their disability (Hallahan, Kauffman, & Pullen, 2018).
Service Providers to Children with Disabilities
Consulting services: education providers and other stakeholders in special education for disabled people should focus on providing consultative services. The primary goal of these services is to ensure the needs of students with disabilities are catered for (Hallahan, Kauffman, & Pullen, 2018).
Classroom-based services: in this scenario, all the necessary services that are helping children with disabilities should be provided in the classroom. For instance, children with cerebral palsy have movement challenges. Therefore, providing these services in the classroom would help them very much.
Recreational services include taking children to the library and other recreational areas like the gym and swimming (Hallahan, Kauffman, & Pullen, 2018).
