Prosody: I LEARNED THAT when I was in an ASL linguistic class at the University. I took Discourse Analysis and discussed non-manual markers, cues, and intonation. It helps me understand how the person uses ASL and writes the data transcription.

Pidgins and Creole: My daughter's immediate family on her father's side was raised in Louisiana, called Cane Rivers. Since her family is mixed French Creole and Native American, I was unaware of the Creole language. By the way, her father's second cousin Don Prudhomme was retired by The Snake Drag Racing. Many people keep asking me, are you related to Paul Prudhomme or Don Prudhomme? I told people it was Don Prudhomme. I was interested in Creole culture.
Pidgin languages regularly communicate with people who do not share common languages. They are usually speakers of three or more languages within a distinct social environment because they have mixed styles. Creole languages use the process of transforming pidgin language into the Creole language because the children born in the community use their native language and borrow from one of the contract languages.

I remembered watching a YouTube video comparing ASL, PSE, and SEE. It is a bit different. Nonetheless, it was a good example, and I like it. Yes, I took a Syntax class, in which my former teacher mentioned Hawaii in pidgin. She lived in Hawaii and taught us at CSULB during the COVID impact. She explained how the Hawaii people use it.
For example, the car is significant.
