Just like any other subject, the field of Mathematics has undergone a lot of reforms with regards to the subject matter and techniques in teaching. In the United States for example, several reforms have already happened in the school’s curricula based from the orders of State institutions. These reforms could be analyzed based on the political and educational reforms that is created.
On the one hand, an article written by the NASEM (2015), noted that one of the reforms when it comes to curicula building in the field was the continuous distribution of authority with regards to curicula development and books publishing.
