Analysis of the Antisocial Behaviors

Challenging Behavior
Behavior in a childcare or classroom setting becomes challenging when it interferes with the child’s cognitive, social, or emotional development (Kaiser & Rasminsk, 2017). Furthermore, when the behavior is harmful to the child or those around them, it can be challenging. In this discussion, I will focus on two-year-old Jose, who exhibits several challenging behaviors. Three of these behaviors include physical aggression, trouble sitting still, and antisocial behaviors. According to Kaiser and Rasminsk (2017), physical aggression is the use of physical force against others to express frustration or anger or attain a particular goal. Specific actions that amount to physical aggression include grabbing, hitting, pushing, hitting, pinching, biting, and spitting.
