A key concept that was clarified in the Zoom lecture is consumer activism. The lecture mainly explained the problems of consumer activism in regard to the food system. One of the outstanding problems identified is that consumer activism harms production. Most consumers have no privilege, access, or ability to make choices. Those who do cannot make choices perfectly. This behavior reduces the purchase of food, resulting in low production.
