The coding practice required good observation and concentration skills to come up with the right results. I experienced minimal problems identifying the history of patient's illnesses due to the adequate research I had carried out previously on diseases' background. I easily identified the ICD-10-CM code involved in the procedure, even though it took me some time to figure.
To ensure future coding accuracy, I will update myself yearly in CPT, wellbeing basic methodology coding framework (HCPCS), and ICD-10. It is significant for coders to be proficient and taught on all coding-related updates, yet now like never before, they must comprehend what effect esteem-based consideration and new revealing rules will have on the cost of patient consideration.
