* Thesis: Non-verbal behavior, the social context and the interaction between the message sender and receiver or interpreter influence the nonverbal communication process and message interpretation.
Nonverbal communication is a form of communication without speaking including facial expressions, eye contact gestures, and distance. Complementing or reinforcing what is spoken is important communicate and pass the message across, and message senders contextual factors send messages. The situation and experiences are some of the factors that influence how the message recipients interpret the message, meaning that prior verbal communicating in certain contexts may affect their understanding. Even in nonverbal communication there is feedback in the communication process. Different aspects of non-verbal communication provide the listener/ interpreter with very valuable information that will allow them to understand some elements of the communicated messages and information.
