From my online experience, one corporation that uses social media wisely is Nike. Through the company's social media platforms, and Instagram in particular, Nike uses pictures and videos to share stories of people from different backgrounds. While athletes majorly feature, the company also shares stories of ordinary people, which is significant in connecting potential customers with the brand. Furthermore, as a global corporation, the company shares stories from all over the world, and I think this contributes immensely to growing the brand's reputation further.
In the Forbes article, Wells (2020) describes key social media trends for marketers to watch in 2020. These three trends are building online communities, humanizing the brand, and social purchasing (Wells, 2020). I think these trends are necessary for companies seeking to increase sales via social media platforms....
