Most importantly to note is that most of the unions in Canada are being regulated by the Federal and provincial legislation. These unions are required by law to be financially accountable and democratic to the members. All of the unions in Canada have got their own constitutions and these unions must register with the government labor boards. This paper will be based on the nurses union in Canada (UFCW Canada, 2017).
