In this assignment, you will be reviewing all the areas or functions within business, such as marketing, finance, human resources, supply chain, and manufacturing, etc. This assignment has two (2) parts.
Part 1 - Identify the top three (3) areas of business (see above) in the textbook that are the most interesting to you:
- What are those areas?
- Why are they interesting to you?
Part 2 - Identify three (3) jobs within EACH of those areas you identified in Part 1 that you might want to do:
- What are the job titles for each of those jobs?
- What are the primary responsibilities and type of work done by each of those jobs?
- What are the skills, knowledge, and abilities needed to do those jobs?
In order to do this assignment, you will need to review the text for the areas of business we covered in this course. You will also have to do outside research to find out the jobs available in each area and the ones you might find most interesting. Then, you will need to research what those jobs are and what it takes to do those jobs.

Finance
Finance is the study of how individuals, businesses, and governments manage their money. It involves the Management of resources and investments, as well as the analysis of risk and return. It is a critical part of a business and involves using financial instruments such as stocks, bonds, and derivatives to generate capital and create wealth. Finance is an exciting area because it is a practical field that requires a combination of technical and analytical skills. It requires an understanding of financial instruments and an ability to interpret financial data (Kumar, 2022).  Also, it involves understanding economic theory and developing strategies for investing and managing risk. It is an ever-evolving field that requires an understanding of the global economy and the ability to make informed decisions.
Human Resources
Human Resources is the process of managing and developing people within an organization. It involves recruiting, selecting, and training personnel and developing policies and procedures. Moreover, it involves managing employee relations, compensation and benefits, and performance management. Human Resources is an exciting area to me because it consists of the development of people and the Management of organizational culture. It requires an understanding of organizational dynamics and an ability to develop and implement strategies that foster engagement and collaboration (Pride et al., 2022). Additionally, it requires an understanding of the legal and ethical aspects of HR, as well as an understanding of current trends and developments in the field. It is an ever-changing field that requires an understanding of the global labor market and the ability to manage a diverse workforce.
Part Two

Positions such as Benefits Administrator, Training and Development Manager, and Labor Relations Specialist are all examples of jobs that are classified as being under the broader category of Human Resource Management.
