All individuals should be treated equally and fairly without discrimination. Employers should not be permitted to discriminate against people based on their attractiveness. When vacant positions or jobs are advertised, they do not usually mention the physical appearance of applicants that should be eligible. In most cases, only the educational background, work experience, and skills are considered to determine the best applicant.
Attractiveness is taught by society, which associates beauty with specific favorable personalities or characteristics. In most cases, attractiveness is not related to the business goal. That is why employers should hire a candidate who has qualified regardless of his or her attractiveness and appearance (James, 2008).
