Personal responsibility plays a huge role in my life as a scholar. The element allows an individual to take ownership of their various educational activities (The University of Arizona Global Campus, 2021). It also requires a scholar to take responsibility for their actions and consequences. As a scholar, I am learning various life skills that would benefit my workplace and the outside environment. Personal responsibility is one of the life skills that will help me maneuver many situations in life. Through this trait, I can make rational decisions and take responsibility for their consequences. For instance, employers require employees to take responsibility for all their actions within the workplace. If an employee does not have the skill to take responsibility for their actions, they might lose the job. Therefore, the element of personal responsibility will help me in my school environment and life after school.
The electronic communication element is also crucial to my life as a scholar or professional. Through electronic communication, I am always up to date with any university-related activities. In most cases, the communication is time-critical. Therefore, missing out on an email can greatly impact my life as a scholar (The University of Arizona Global Campus, 2021). For instance, if an assignment deadline is communicated through email, every student must adhere to the changes. Such means students have to keep checking their emails for any updates. Missing deadlines can affect someone’s grades. The element will teach me how to be punctual in attending to matters after school life.
