My personal philosophy on leadership is the co-creator leadership philosophy. The leader remains strong in their vision and control but is also agile enough to listen and integrate the ideas of those they are leading. I believe that a leader should set the vision for the team and develop consistent goals for people to achieve the vision by considering their own ideas on how to reach the objective with his or her guidance. The co-creator leadership philosophy is founded on the idea that constant learning is conceivable and necessary. Therefore, leaders should constantly revise their leadership strategies to ensure competitive and effective teams (Carter, 2020). I consider the current Apple CEO, Tim Cook, to be a leader. Cook shares the same leadership philosophy of commitment to excellence as his predecessor.
