Understanding the differences between product offerings and consumer target is essential for any manager. It allows him to have a better insight into the relationship of various strengths and weaknesses of the organization and its environment and use it to its advantage. In this case, the author would like to focus on four market segmentation for hotels in Las Vegas Hotels such as; (1) luxury level and the average length of stay (ALOS), (2) floor space and annual profit, (3) online reviews and occupancy rate, and (4) COVID-19 restrictions and compliance and online reviews.
First, the luxury level and ALOS is deemed as good market segmentation metric because it would determine whether the hotel’s luxury level correlates with the length of a client’s stay.
