The agency's mission is to attain a poverty and homelessness free society by empowering all members to elevate and live above these aspects. This agency encourages all people to work for the better of the community in general and not for personal gain to ensure nobody is ranked behind. In this case, the agency works to identify and work on the causes of issues such as poverty to enable all people to live beyond the constraints. Hence, the agency empowers people by encouraging them to work to support each other through elevation and achievement of the set goals. On the other hand, the mission has a micro-focus on social work. This type of focus is revealed by the compassionate purpose of the unit in ensuring that all homeless individuals get decent homes (2U Inc, 2020). It also helps the children in foster care in the many ways around human needs, such as offering them food and clothing (2U Inc, 2020). The primary focus in the agency is attaining maximum care for all individuals by creating an environment where people can get help in incidences like recovery after issues such as fire accident burning an uninsured home.
However, the agency cannot attain its mission without the primary instant of setting and working hard to achieve specific goals. Working towards the achievement of the goals puts the agency in a closer position to attaining its stated mission. These objectives give every member in the organization a reason to work hard to see the agency in the anticipated place where every individual not only has a home but is also comfortable in the surroundings.
