The cultural diversity among global societies is increasingly becoming known due to globalization. As a result of globalization, different cultures interact in social spaces, workplaces, business environments, and countries. Since differences in cultures can inhibit cross-cultural communication, Hofstede (Mister_Simplify, 2020) suggests that it is essential for people to understand national cultures, the different norms, values, and attitudes that distinguish one nation from another.
Thus, Hofstede provides a 6-D model to determine and understand other cultures to enhance cross-cultural communication.
