Before the course starts: Choose a company you are particularly excited about and would like to work for after graduation. The company can be located anywhere in the world.
Start analyzing its given industry by searching for insights and trends online, and then concentrate on the aspects you find particularly interesting in terms of innovation, business models, and growth opportunities while analyzing the following nine building blocks of a Business Model Canvas (see course literature: Ostewalder & Pigneur, 2013, here is a template of their canvas. In terms of conclusions, check out Ten Types of Innovation and the innovation tactics as inspiration to propose how the company should transform moving forward.
Background- State the underlying problem or challenge this company is facing now or about to face, and back up your argument with sound reasoning and references.
Customer Segments – An organization serves one or several customer segments.
Value Propositions – It seeks to solve customer problems and satisfy customer needs with value propositions.
Channels – Value propositions are delivered to customers through communication, distribution, and sales Channels.
Customer Relationships – Customer relationships are established and maintained with each customer segment.
Revenue Streams – Revenue streams result from value propositions successfully offered to customers.
Key Resources are the assets required to offer and deliver the previously described elements…

Key Partnerships – Some activities are outsourced, and some resources are acquired outside the enterprise.

Conclusions: Proposals for updating the business model - Propose, based on your research with the supper of the Ten Types of Innovation and by updating the Business Model Canvas, how the company should proceed to sustain and succeed in the future.

Larry Page and Sergey Brin initiated Google in the year 1998. The firm is based in America and has its head office in Mountain View, California. Billions of online explorations are run by Google, assigning it at the center of most internet consumers' familiarity. The company also offers over 45 internet products like tablet processors and mobile phones, email, and software creation. Google's size and extensive product collection put it among the top four influential companies in the high-tech marketplace (Lee, 2019). However, the corporation has fundamental problems that may hinder its performance. For example, the company's ethos is under increased inspection and may soon reach a tipping point. Some workforces complain that the firm views other workers as more essential and aberrant geniuses. Therefore, the corporation mistreats employees.
Google enjoyed monopolies before the rise of Amazon, Apple, and Facebook. These companies have increased competition which threatens Google's market share. For instance, Amazon's ad business quarterly earnings are almost $ 7 billion, meaning it is creeping into Google's income area. On the other hand, Facebook ads are cheaper, with over 2.9 billion users and products that google lacks. Moreover, Apple has 26% mobile market shares, meaning it has many users (Atrakchi-Israel & Nahmias, 2023). In addition, Apple gadgets allow ad-blockers, and the default search engine in Spotlight and Siri changed to Bing. Lastly, Google will likely face a domino effect, especially when they let some regulations according to some regions. For example, suppose lawmakers in England are fruitful in compelling Google to accept other payment options for a specific app (Atrakchi-Israel & Nahmias, 2023). In that case, app developers in other countries will likely request the same treatment. Despite the above challenges, Google's model impacts the world and enables it to profit.

Google uses a model pattern where users do not pay for services. In this case, companies pay the corporation to advertise on their search engine so that the users can see their products (Lee, 2019). The model consists of the following;
Customer Segments
This section consists of users, content publishers, and advertisers. Users are everybody who searches in Google to find something on the internet. These are the audience that aids Google in passing the information to advertisers and content creators. Content creators are individuals or organizations that create data to publish on the net for commercial purposes (Yeo, 2023). They include news sites, bloggers, and entertainment sites. Lastly, the advertisers comprise large and small entrepreneurs or individuals who want to market their services and products online.
