Now a group work, our group idea is to design an APP, which is used to help people find the roommate APP, because now the students or multinational work a lot of people, most people need to find someone to rent to reduce rent, but they But also worried that can not find a good roommate, so we designed this APP is through the data screening to help them find the right roommate, to help them find a similar lifestyle or hobby roommates and so on. C. Marketing Methods
In order to ensure that a wide range of audience and potential clients are tapped, this business would employ both traditional and modern ways of marketing schemes. Traditional strategies would include in posting advertisements in newspapers, flyers, and other methods of print communication both inside the university and the area surrounding it. By limiting the scope of our print advertisements within the immediate area around the campus, the costs for the advertisements could be significantly trimmed down. Aside from traditional methods of advertisement, the marketing campaign for this business would also employ new methods of marketing strategies. In fact, most efforts would be dedicated towards these since most students are highly dependent on the social media and other online platforms in order to look for services (such as housing), compared prices, and even make transactions. Thus, Social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram would be utilized to post pricing and updates for the business. Some of the strategies in the utilization of Social media platforms would include, posting of property images, creating video footages of the rental space, sending out SMS brigades, posting small “open-house” events for a strategically targeted student populations online, and also providing referral incentives (both online and direct). If possible, this business would also have a dedicated webpage which would help the user to view available options for shared housing. More particularly, this website should be aimed at providing as much information as possible so that the clients could make better and much faster decisions. Some of the main contents of the webpage would include location/university-specific advertisements, which shows the price comparisons, amenities, contract information, and any other information that are beneficial. Aside from this, the webpage should also include a “personality profile matchup” information (further details to be discussed). As stated in the vision and goals section of this article, this business must provide an opportunity for clients (current and prospective tenants) to find the right roommate based on a set of criteria that would be set by the clients themselves. Some of these criteria might include personality, lifestyle, and hobbies that could be screened by client. Other pertinent information and specific personal data must be would not be included for the security of every stakeholders in this business. These personal data include sensitive information such as current address, social security number, and complete birthdate, and schedule among others.
