The purpose of this assignment is for students to identify and discuss different leadership theories exemplified in business leaders. Students will also describe power bases leaders use to resolve challenges and explain two or three behaviors that leaders should demonstrate or avoid in order to be successful. I am responsible for 1, and 2 below. We are doing the paper on Elon Musk- I have complemented the introduction paragraph. This is what I have. :::: For the Leadership analysis series, we choose the profile of Elon Musk, founder, CEO of SpaceX, Co-founder of Tesla, CEO of Neuralink, founder of the Boring company and also PayPal. (Ref-Elon Musk. (2019, July 19). Elon Musk is one of the pioneers of the world and a great human being. Musk is known for his leadership and his ethical code of conduct, be it while managing any project, team or while addressing his employees. Musk has always maintained ethics and always follow the code of conduct. After the failure of the SpaceX rocket launch for the 3rd time, he had a brief talk with the employees regarding the failure of the program. He said, ‘If things are not failing, you are not innovating enough’. Musk also mentioned that he will never give up on his part. It clearly indicates that he never stops working until he achieves the goal. Following a series of escalating conflicts in 2007, and the 2008 financial crisis, Eberhard was ousted from the firm. Musk assumed leadership of the company as CEO and product architect in 2008.
1. Identify a leader and justify the selection of that particular leader. Discuss the organizations with which the leader is affiliated and the industry in which that the leader is most recognized. Discuss how long the leader has been in a leadership position.
2. Discuss which leadership theory best describes the chosen leader's approach to leading people.

As indicated above, Musk leads numerous companies. He founded SpaceX in 2002, which is an aerospace company. The person wants to enhance space exploration by designing and manufacturing spacecraft and rockets. Moreover, Musk established Tesla Inc. in 2003, which manufactures solar panels, car batteries, and electric automobiles. The leader co-founded Neuralink, a neurotechnology company, in 2016. The firm has the objective of implanting electronic chips in human brains (Kahn & Vanian, 2022). Additionally, Musk founded The Boring Company in 2016. The company deals with tunnel and infrastructure construction. Among all the above companies that Musk established or co-founded, he is most recognized in the manufacture of electric cars and rockets. The leader has earned a place in the technology industry that cannot be erased.
Musk has been in the leadership position for over two decades. His engineering skills make him outstanding since he is involved in the operations of his companies.
