How can you apply OB to your current job?
An organizational behavior (OB) is the study of the interaction of people within groups. The study of OB is integral in making businesses operate efficiently. The primary objective of organizational behavior is to analyze the impact of social and environmental factors on employees’ or teams’ operations (Ross, 2021). There are different ways by which I can apply organizational behavior to my current job. Through goal definition, I will be able to understand the steps I should take in attaining the goals. I should also clarify my target behaviors and results that can lead me to the desired goals. If my productivity is low due to insufficient communication on projects, I should research means of fixing the communication issues to elevate my productivity.
