Schiltz was a flagship beer by the Joseph Schiltz Brewing Company in Milwaukee. However, it is now under the portfolio of the Pabst Brewing Company, an American brewing company owned by TSG Consumer Partners and Eugene Kashper. Throughout the first half of the 20th century, the beer was beloved and regarded as an iconic American-styled lager. However, the product lost its popularity after a series of wrong business decisions by the brewery, including the infamous "Drink Schiltz or I'll Kill You" campaign.
