The modern business world is characterized by increased usage of projects in handling operations. In most companies, almost all activities related to value-addition are carried out as projects (PMJ, 2013). Agile project management is a specific plan of work used to devise and guide projects, particularly in the development of software. As informed by Canty (2015), this approach presents software that has the most prime value to the customers.
The concepts that guide agile project management are based on interactions among individuals, meaning that teamwork is of great importance during the project management process.
