5pts       Correct formatting (see below)

Formatting:

  • ½ page (or more), Single-spaced, 1” margins, Times New Roman, 12pt font

  • Spacing should be 0 for all “before/after/left/right” under page layout

  • Nothing written in the header/footer

  • First line should contain: Full Name on far left and Date on the far right

  • Second line should contain paper Title centered in the middle, skip the fourth line and start writing the paper on the 5th line of the page.

  • The remainder of the paper should be aligned left

  • Title should include the name of the Human Impact section

  • Write the Question (found at the end of the Human Impact section) on the third line (*If the question takes up two lines, then skip a line after the question and start writing on the next line)

  • On the second page (at the end of the paper), please put a separate section labeled References with your articles correctly cited using the APA style.

Human Impact of Coral Reef
Based on tolerance law, species have upper and lower bounds within which they can survive. Certain environments contribute to the survival and growth of these species. Their ability to adapt as well as survive relies significantly on the evolution process. Evolution is slow, and any environmental change impacts the species’ responses.
Among these changes is the humans’ alteration of the physical environment to form physical conditions that restrict the tolerance of these species. Natural selection needs many generations to impact adaptive change. As a result, fast changes might eliminate adaptive evolution. In addition, anthropogenic alterations have significant impact because it is rare that humans impact a single factor in the environment.
Among these interactive effects is the distinct change in coral reefs. They are made of cumulative grown corals. The upper layer has living corals and the remainder is made of skeletons of older corals.
