Introduction
Every person has several issues at every stage of their life, both of which emerge from themselves or others or the environment. A person’s life is often full of storms with different difficult issues and genuine transformations. Adolescence is a developmental transition between infancy and maturity involving biological, cognitive, and socioemotional changes highlighted by obvious changes in bodily life. The frequent adolescent phenomenon that happens is the Korean Wave. The Korean wave is generally a fan of K-pop music that is naturally dominated mostly by young people. In other words, a negative image of one’s body is disappointment with some parts of his physical appearance, in which many components of his look are assessed adversely. In keeping with Cash’s (2020) words, adolescents are less happy with the body and have a more negative view of their bodies, especially teenagers. The phenomenon and certain statements are relevant, but not much study is still available on a corporal image with celebrity worship. It causes scientists to explore the link between human image and celebrity worship following certain claims and phenomena.
Given the influence of celebrities’ behavior and body pictures, these two behaviors negatively impact their growth to restrict the development of teenage girls’ potential. Celebrity worship behaviors and a negative body picture disturb young people in their emotional aspects. It is one of the duties of counselors and guiding teachers to prepare for adolescent counseling to have a positive body picture and advise adolescents who have the highest level of celebration. People who are happy with their physical condition belong to a positive biosphere (Cooley & Toray, 2019). The personal and psychological rea...
