"Greco-Roman" architecture refers to the Roman based architecture that followed the architectural style and principles established by the ancient Greece. Temples were the most representative buildings of that era (Fazio, et al. 2013). The Doric, Ionic and Corinthian are the three primary styles of column design of the classical Greece used to design temples in that era. The Doric style of architecture is a famous Greek system distinguished by vertical columns and a plain roof is commonly used around the world today. The Ionic order is more intricate, delicate and elegant than Doric architecture. Corinthian architecture is the altered version of the Ionic style but is characterized with much detail. Corinthian architectural style it however not commonly found in Greece (Fazio, et al. 2013).
