Knitwear refers to clothing that has been knitted. There have been various trends in Knitwear over the past few years. Some of the trends of Knitwear that have been noted, especially in 2020, include the knitted POLO shirt, Crew-Neck Cardi, Floral Embroidery, Belted Cardigan, Modern Fair Isle, Cardigan Sweater, Erin Sweater, Les Deux French Hoodie, and Thin Ribbed Cardigan. Over the past few years, the Knitwear industry has had several revolutions characterized by high fashion. As a result, the Knitwear sales are increasing year by year. In the year 2017, Knitwear industry made sales amounting to $408 billion and is expected to grow to $706 billion in 2022. It has been found out that the economy is growing at a rate of 11.6% annually.
The Knitwear industry has been growing and escalating in various countries such as the United States, Canada, Germany, China, Japan, Brazil, Italy, and the United Kingdom. The kingdom products have had a comeback in the market because of the attractiveness, uniqueness, and design (PR Newswire, 2020). Knitwear products have also made advancements in the types of material they use, such as synthetic, natural, and sometimes they blend both natural and synthetic. This has made them attract many people all over the world. The Knitwear industry has also been considerate of several factors while making its products.
