The sound was incorporated into films to enhance the movie experience of its audiences. It led to the development of directors with experience working in theaters and a new understanding of voice power. This paper compares “The Jazz Singer” film of 1929 to “The King-Kong” of 1933 using dialogue, realism in acting, and the rhythm in editing.
