I have chosen this lantern for my art review because it is very eye-catchy and unique. The design and the technique used for this piece of art is original and unlike other ceramic art displayed in the museum. The general composition of the lantern is highlighted by its unique structure that somewhat resembles a cathedral of some sort. This piece was used as a lantern, with the intention of putting inside a candle or some sort of oil-based fire output. This lantern is described as a piece of Raqqa Lusterware.
