Economics is a discipline that is mainly concerned with how humans strive to satisfy their needs. It focuses on how goods and services are produced, distributed, and consumed. As a social science, economists seek to understand the interactions and behaviors of economic agents. Macroeconomics, a branch of economics, is concerned with the large-scale interactions and behaviors of economic agents in the whole economy; this might be the global or regional economies (Abel et al., 2017). Aspects like changes in the market, employment, inflation, and changes in interest rates, among others making the general economy, are studied in Microeconomics.
