Conclusion

            The chosen company for the current project was Affirm, a financial service provider established in 2012. In 2021, the organization went public with an initial IPO listing of $49 and an estimated IPO value of $11.9 billion (Affirm, 2022). The organization's shares were floated on the NASDAQ stock exchange. Today, the market share for the company is $32 (Yahoo Finance, 2022). Therefore, the purpose of the current project was to determine whether Affirm's decision to list on NASDAQ was ideal and the factors that may have contributed to this decision, including comparisons with other non-American entities like the Shanghai Stock Market and Euronext. Affirm geographical location, for instance, might have influenced the decision to list on NASDAQ and not the other two financial markets. However, compared to NYSE, NASDAQ provided fewer listing restrictions.
