The global tire industry manufactures and distributes tires for different vehicles, including aircraft, buses, trucks, and cars. In the past decade, vehicle tire production improved from 776 to 816 million pieces within China only (Dong et al., 2021). Over 3 billion tires were manufactured in 2019 globally (Dong et al., 2021). The vast magnitude of waste tires constitutes a significant side effect that needs to be mitigated. With the rising shift to sustainable tires, waste tires are becoming a considerable problem that manufacturers should address, focusing more on sustainable production and recycling. The restoration method entails Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), an efficient method applied to quantify the ecological implications of vehicle tires based on the life cycle stages – production, transportation, usage, and end-of-life (Dong et al., 2021). This would be the best method because it has worked in Asian countries where the rising production of waste tires drives waste vehicle tire valorization (Taleb et al., 2020). The process has also worked in the United States, where end-of-life tires are reused for the replacement of fossil fuels and civil engineer...
