It portrays the United States as a socialist democracy. This is a dystopic film addressing the pertinent issues affecting women, gays, liberals, feminists, and other minority groups. The story is a collage that includes news reports and surveillance footage arranged in a documentary format. It is an exciting film. There are very radical feminist themes presented throughout the film, with a fantasy portrayal of America a decade after undergoing a socialist revolution. This is a bold film because it challenges the current ideological issues guiding American politics. Through the film, we see the quest for complete social transformation as a continuous process.
