Journal on the Composition Process
While writing this essay, I focused on the main topic I was writing about. I also ensured that I followed the format which is necessary for writing every composition that is introduction, body and conclusion. As I began, I first made an outline of the ideas that I had about the topic I was writing about then I wrote down the thesis statement upon which I planned to ground my arguments. Following the format, I then put my ideas into writing as summarized in the outline till I made the conclusion of the composition. Notable is also the fact that while writing the body, I started each paragraph with a different topic sentence.
In writing this essay, I followed certain steps according to the lessons that I learnt in class. These steps are prewriting, drafting, revising, editing, and publication. I preferred to follow these steps in the mentioned order to ensure that the work that I submitted to my tutor was complete, professional and well-polished.
