Music Travel Report: Local Culture, Geography, and Native Music of Jerusalem

Coursework Instructions:

I chose Jerusalem. This needs to be done on the city of Jerusalem, the reason I chose this location is because of the biblical history. I work at a faith based drug and alcohol treatment facility and i am interested in learning as much as possible about the history of the bible. please write this report on the music in Jerusalem, give some background info of the city, dances that may be popular and a genre that is popular there. Look into Christian music there. Don't necessarily need to be written about that but if you can please try or add something about it. Also please use scholary sources preferably ones listed in the instructions. Thank you. This is for "music as a world phenomenon" course.
