Throughout my writing journey (completing class assignments and essays), I have come to realize that there is no single approach to writing, but there are essential concepts such as preparation, creating outlines, initial drafts, and final drafts that one must be aware of to do appealing writing. If combined, these concepts play a significant role in developing academic and professional competence. However, despite the importance of these skills and competence, I acknowledge that writing is a continuous process. As I progress with my writing, the following concepts will influence it: preparing, planning, creating outlines, and creating drafts.
Preparing helps create direction for the writing and form its basis because it acts as a framework for the whole writing. While preparing, one must establish a relationship with the reader. In preparation, one must find all the required materials for the writing, go through them thoroughly, and select materials with relevant information. Planning is another critical piece of advice that will significantly influence my future writings. Planning helps organize the views and come up with a straightforward way to present them to the reader. In the planning stage, contrary views are likely to emerge, but the materials will help organize them and provide a framework for the outline.
