The State Refers to the Political Organization of a Community
The state refers to the political organization of a community or government institutions. Also, it refers to a form of human organization differentiated from other social groups by multiple factors such as its purpose, territory, and sovereignty, to mention a few. A state comprises individuals’ agreements on lawful methods used to solve disputes. The development of states is attributable to multiple factors such as kinship, war, religion, and industry. These factors are crucial and permanent in human lives and arise from the nature and needs of a man. Each factor created unity and purpose, which is among the main pillars of a state, and the realization of common objectives and needs, which is the state’s subjective basis (Politicalscience, 2019). Kinship is the early humankind history indicating the social organization is connected. They were groups of people who considered them to have the same blood, thus forming a unit. Kinship toes strengthened unity and solidarity in the community, forming political organizations in ancient states.
Religion contributed to the formation of states through phenomena with limited intelligence that could not be understood and interpreted as supernatural manifestations whose wrath must be avoided through sacrifices and ceremonies. Kinship and religion promoted unity and obligations among groups. The relevance of religion to the creation of states is not limited to the ancient states only since priestly has proved its strengths in politics and government. Economic activities in the ancient period led to the creation, so states to promote cooperation under certain rules. Occupation and wealth differences formed social classes, and domination of certain classes over others for economic exploitation was crucial in creating a government.
