The intuitive model is helpful based on personal judgments and experience, unlike the rational (analytical) model, which requires data and evaluation of the pros and cons of alternatives. Intuitive decision-making tends to focus more on feelings than facts. The approach is associated with emotion (Kaufmann, Wagner & Carter, 2017). Based on the model, there is a focus on what is best considering the day and occasion, but at times depending on the mood. For instance, I am more likely to wear brightly colored on weekends when I am in a happy mood. Still, at times wear what is available if it is appropriate for the occasion, time, and environment.
