Unit Plan of Third-Grade Mathematic: Fraction
This is a unit project on mathematics, which is aimed at the third-grade fraction teaching. It requires nine parts, which are Contents, Abstract, Literature Review, Introduction, Unit Objectives, Unit Map, Lessons Plans, Unit Assessments, and References.
Courses design must include auxiliary teaching methods of music and art, problem-solving teaching methods, and other teaching methods; also, it needs playing activities. The theoretical support associated with these needs to be reflected in Literature Review and Introduction.
Literature Review required 5-6 pages.
Unit Objectives and Unit Map should subject to New York State P-12 Common Core Learning Standards for Mathematics settings and the standards should be marked in this project.
It then requires the design of all detailed lesson plans, including the specific length of each lesson, goals, difficulty, teaching materials, teaching strategies, preparation activities, classroom activities, and after-school assignments.
Finally, design assessments or quizzes for each lesson, indicated in Assessments.
Please refer to the order information and attachments for the rest.

Course Plan
Daily Instruction Lesson Plan 1
Lesson topic: The use of order and equivalence in estimating sums and differences
Materials:
* Fraction circles
* Number line
* Papers Pictures
Students Outcome:
* Students will use a number line in explaining sums and differences in fractions.
* Students will describe both subtraction and summation calculations with fractions
Instruction Delivery:
* Students will use fraction circles in formulating a plan for adding and subtracting fractions and record the steps for the plan symbolically.
Procedures:
* Give students an opportunity for making connections between subtracting and adding fractions through the use of symbolic procedures on a number line
Closing Connections:
* You will develop unique skills for solving addition and subtraction procedures using both fraction circles and pictures.
Daily Instruction Lesson Plan 2
Lesson Topic: Multiplying two fractions
Materials:
* Patty paper
* Number line
* Shapes
* Folded papers
Student’s Outcome:
* Students will use patty papers in multiplying two fractions.
* Students will develop algorithms in multiplying fractions through the use of different patterns.
Instruction Delivery:
* Students will develop the skills of using a number line in multiplying fractions.
Procedures:
* Give students an opportunity of using a variety of models and algorithms in multiplying two different fractions. The scholars will describe the connection between pictures, algorithms, and number line.
