My Top 3 Leadership Styles and Potential Blind Spots
I prefer a team-oriented leadership method whereby I give my team members more freedom, ensuring democracy in all procedures. In my Leadership Style questionnaire, the top three leadership styles are to join, delegate, and abdicate. This democratic or participative style manifests as actively involving team members in decision-making and fostering an atmosphere of inclusivity. The leadership approach tends to lean towards coaching, emphasizing mentorship and skill development in the team, and a collaborative style characterized by a preference for cooperative efforts and consensus building (Mansaray, 2019).
