Trace evidence collection is a critical process at a crime scene. Through this process, it is possible to get answers to most of the questions about the crime. In addition, the process ensures that sufficient evidence is obtained to be used during prosecution. The process of evidence collection requires the use of specialized equipment. There are three main evidence collection methods: the hand and peck method, seal tape method, and vacuum cleaner method (EberlyScience, 2010).
