The selected hypothesis related to my area of interest is that the individual and the family have a role in the management/control of a long-life illness and to live a lifestyle that enhances a patient's well-being. Healthcare specialists, including nurses, are placing expectations on individuals and families to manage their well-being and heavily invest in helping patients acquire the skills and knowledge for this responsibility.
