The government’s compassion and commitment to social justice can be measured by its actions towards assisting the vulnerable members of society. I support the government’s responsibility to provide a social safety net, ensuring vulnerable populations have equal access to essential services. The government's efforts towards social welfare and human rights are evident when it prioritizes the needs of the elderly, disabled, children, and the sick. I support the argument that access to care is a fundamental right, and it is the government's responsibility to ensure everyone, irrespective of their social or financial status, receives adequate healthcare services. Over-reliance on government assistance can limit an individual’s commitment to social responsibility.
