It is no doubt that health care is undeniably a basic human need. No one can refute the fact that all humans are equal, and that we all deserve to have a quality and healthy life. As informed by Findlay (2016), one of the primary factors for promoting this necessary aspect of equality is ensuring that all people have equal access to quality care services. Unfortunately, in the United States, some individuals, especially those in the low-class status, still do not have access to health care as they are often unable to afford the high cost of treatment. In this regard, there have been increased efforts tailored towards advocating for “health care for all.” However, despite this being an indisputably nice idea, there has been a heated debate on how the health care for all would be paid for in the long-term to guarantee its sustainability, with two stakeholders at interest, “the haves” and “the employers.”
