Understanding the relationship between politics and healthcare legislation is essential for anyone. It allows the public to determine how their electoral votes can affect the quality and quantity of healthcare services provided by the state. Accordingly, one of the persistent politically affected healthcare issues is the repeal of the Affordable Care Act. This is a push on contending political parties regarding the belief that there is a need to add or modify the existing healthcare program to prioritize different results that favor their other healthcare programs CITATION Coh20 \l 1033 (Cohn, 2020).
