Recycling and Reusing Project

Coursework Instructions:

Learning Objective: Understand the economic importance of logistics in both individual applications and global implications.
For this discussion board, you will be completing a project. Over the next week, pay attention to items you are about to throw in the trash. Using the guide below, separate out the items that can be recycled or reused and collect and set them aside from your trash. At the end of the week, inventory all the items you placed aside for recycling or reuse, then write a post including the requested details (below).
What Can I Recycle?
Write a report (1 paragraph for each item below) discussing:
1. Include your list of inventoried items set aside for recycling or reuse.
2. What are your thoughts on recycling in general. Is it useful or pointless? Is it effective or wasteful? Is it convenient or inconvenient?
3. What are your thoughts on reuse?
4. Your thoughts on your recycling and reuse exercise. Was it easy or difficult? Are recycling facilities readily available? How did the exercise make you feel? Did you find interesting ways to reuse any of the trash?
5. Describe how recycling and reuse impacts supply chain logistics. You may also discuss the supply chain logistics of the recycling and/or reuse process. You may consider looking up and discussing closed-loop delivery systems like milk and bread delivery.
