Here is an example: From what I have noticed, a lot of jobs can require people to go on business trips, like my Dad who goes on business trips almost every week and my sister’s boyfriend who goes on business trips once every couple of months. Before today, I never thought about how they would report what happened during their trip to their employers, but it is logical that they would write a trip and/or expense report for the company to keep in their records. These types of reports can also be useful when trying to recall information from a specific trip that you cannot remember.

* This chapter tries its best to provide essential information to becoming a good writer. I learned that technical writing involves the practice of observation and attention to detail. If one can write about the technical discussions, one can be at articulating meaning.
