In the scenario at hand, the two product choices are Nike accessories and Apple products. In particular, Apple deals with electronic devices, such as iPhones, MacBook computers, and smartwatches. On the other hand, Nike deals with shoes, workout apparel, and clothing. The primary things that Nike and Apple should consider when conducting an electronic ad campaign include the target market, money required, media of digital marketing, social media platforms, and the budget needed. The steps that one should follow when conducting the research is critical to the success of the ad campaign. First, the marketer should consider the target audience for both Apple and Nike. For example, many people who buy Apple’s MacBook Pro, iPhone, TV, and MacBook Air are aged between 18 and 34 years. On the contrary, the majority of Nike clients are aged between 15 and 40 years. Second, marketers should define their goals to achieve within a particular period. Third, they should choose the best social media platform to use to reach their target audience (Polman, 2019). Fourth, marketers should do keyword research and search engine optimization. Finally, they should set ads on various social media platforms that have a high traffic of targeted and potential clients.

Consumers of Nike products are individuals who love quality products and would not stop to buy apparel that they think would make them stand out.
