Abstract
Building a network system where they have introduced a new office requires both computer hardware and software. A broad network of this sort includes computer users, computers, a server, networked printers, and most importantly, a network. We aim to build the best network for this project with the best functionality and the lowest cost. Networking allows teamwork with minimum physical interaction because the information they need to share can be accessed through the three computers in their new office. The Internet is another important factor in any office because of keeping applications updated, and the workers can research on anything anytime. Lack of support from a cooperate IT office is one of the challenges that face new offices in any organization, affecting James Otis tax associates if not give proper consideration. The network that we will create is easy to manage and straightforward. Network support is necessary for any organization; striving as a contracted technology specialist will make this possible.
Technologies, Hardware, and Software Used Within the Information Technology Field
Information Technology is the use of computers machine to hoard, retrieve, submit, and operate data. Computers hardware is the physical components of a computer; it is divided into different categories, including input devices, which inputs raw data; processing devices, which processes raw data instructions into the material; output devices, which disseminate data and information storage devices. Software devices include applications like Microsoft suite of products and internet browsers.
Proper use of computers helps to accomplish many tasks. The organization is dealing with taxation related work. It installs appropriate operation software, including word processing programs, to write documents and spreadsheet programs that will be used to create budgets, business plans, financial reports, and other reports that require mathematical calculations. Then the organization needs database management programs to keep track of any inventory levels and manage data. Accounting and bookkeeping programs will help complete tax returns and think of desktop publishing programs to produce professional-layouts of high quality such as catalogs (Dvornikov, 2017). Computer networking needs all three computers for the three employees to be connected through a router to share tasks and applications. The new office's primary purpose needs a computer network is easy to access files, on another computer on the system, and using a single printer for all the computers. A wireless network is useful to access multiple files using different devices.
