The game is quite interesting and helps one to find the best way they can benefit their country while also giving a better deal to their trading partner. In the first few rounds of the game, I never paid attention to what I was producing or what I was trading. I simply selected the numbers of jeans and cellphones to produce and then went and traded with no consideration whatsoever of the numbers. However, after the first round of trading, I started paying attention to the remarks and reactions from the citizens. The essence of trade is to enhance a country’s welfare and make sure that citizens are being taken care of. So, I wanted to see how their reactions would be every time I put different combinations of production numbers and trade. The reactions of the citizens were bad in the first few rounds. There was no trade transaction I took up that seemed to impress them because the welfare of the yellow island never improved.
The next move I made was producing jeans and cellphones that guaranteed maximum value for the yellow island and maintained the economy at stable levels.
